Settings
Organisation-wide settings are accessible from the Admin Panel in the main sidebar. Changes here affect the entire organisation.
General
Navigate to Admin Panel → Settings (or directly to the admin panel for your organisation).
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Organisation name | Displayed in headers, emails, and reports |
| Organisation slug | The URL identifier for your organisation (e.g. acme → mijnecc.nl/acme) |
| Default language | Sets the default UI language for new users |
| Timezone | Used for all timestamps, reports, and reminders |
Click Save after making changes.
Incident Statuses
Incident statuses define the workflow states an incident can move through (e.g. Open, In Progress, On Hold, Resolved, Closed).
Navigate to Management → Default Incident Statuses (/management/default-incident-statuses).
Adding a status
- Click New Status.
- Enter a name (e.g. Escalated).
- Choose a colour for the status badge.
- Optionally mark it as a closed state (incidents in this status are treated as resolved/inactive).
- Save.
Editing a status
Click the edit icon next to any status, update the fields, and save.
Reordering statuses
Drag and drop statuses to change the order they appear in the status selector.
Deleting a status
Click the delete icon and confirm. Incidents currently using this status are unaffected — they retain their last known status value.
Syncing from global defaults
If MijnECC has provided a recommended set of default statuses for your language/region, click Sync from Global Defaults to import them. This replaces your current list — confirm carefully.
Person Statuses
Person statuses track the operational state of individuals on the roster (e.g. On Duty, On Break, Dispatched, Stand-Down).
Navigate to Management → Default Person Statuses (/management/default-person-statuses).
Managing person statuses works identically to incident statuses — add, edit, reorder, delete, and sync from global defaults.
Group Statuses
Group statuses track the operational state of groups (e.g. Deployed, Available, Stand-Down).
Navigate to Management → Default Group Statuses (/management/default-group-statuses).
Managing group statuses works identically to person and incident statuses.
Security Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Enforce 2FA | Require all organisation members to enrol two-factor authentication before accessing the platform |
| Allowed email domains | Restrict new user sign-ups to specific email domains (e.g. yourcompany.nl) |
Organisation Join Code
The join code allows anyone with the link or QR code to join your organisation.
- The current QR code and URL are shown in the Admin Panel.
- Click Regenerate Code to invalidate the old code and issue a new one.
Share the code at onboarding events, briefings, or internal channels. Revoke it immediately if it is shared publicly by accident.
Notifications
Configure which system events generate in-app or email notifications for admins and users.
Common notification triggers:
| Trigger | Audience |
|---|---|
| New incident created | Assigned team; optionally all members |
| Incident requires acceptance | Assigned team |
| Reminder pre-alert fires | Teams on the reminder |
| Reminder alert fires | Teams on the reminder |
| New project registration request | Project managers |
Notification settings are accessible from Admin Panel → Notifications.
Deleting the Organisation
DANGER
Organisation deletion is permanent and irreversible. All projects, incidents, users, files, and data are deleted. This cannot be undone.
