Projects

Every incident, reminder, team, roster, and shared resource in MijnECC belongs to a project. A project typically represents a single event, deployment, or operation (e.g. Festival Alpha 2026, Security Deployment – Arena).

Selecting a Project

When you first log in, or if no project is active, you are prompted to select one. You can also switch projects at any time from the Projects section in the left sidebar.

  1. Click Projects in the sidebar.
  2. You see a list of all projects you belong to.
  3. Click Switch to this project next to a project to activate it.

Your active project is shown in the header. All incidents, reminders, and roster entries are scoped to this project.

Joining a Project

Via the project page

If a project is open for registration, a Join Project button appears on the project card.

  1. Click Join Project.
  2. Your request is submitted and marked as Pending.
  3. A project manager or admin will approve or reject your request.
  4. You receive a notification when your request is processed.

Your organisation may share a QR code or direct link that lets you join a specific project instantly.

  1. Scan the QR code or open the invitation link.
  2. If you are already signed in, you are added to the project (or your request is submitted for approval).
  3. If you are not signed in, you are prompted to sign in first.

Project Information

Open a project from the sidebar to view its details:

FieldDescription
NameThe project name
DescriptionOptional summary of the event or deployment
Start / End dateThe scheduled dates for the project
LocationWhere the event takes place
Visitor estimateExpected visitor count on the day
StatusActive or Archived

Visitor Counter

Some projects use a live visitor counter to track how many people are on site in real time.

  • The counter is displayed on the project overview page.
  • Authorised users can increment the count with a single click.
  • The counter updates instantly for all connected users.

Leaving a Project

If you no longer need access to a project, you can leave it from the project page:

  1. Open the project.
  2. Click Leave Project (usually found in the project options or settings area).
  3. Confirm.

You will lose access to all incidents, roster entries, and resources of that project. You can re-join (with approval) if needed.

Exporting Project Data

Authorised users can export the full project data as a JSON file or as a PDF report.

  • JSON export — a machine-readable dump of all project resources (incidents, persons, groups, teams, checklists).
  • PDF export — a formatted report of all incidents in the project.

Both export options are accessible from the project settings or the Options menu on the project page.
